Hey there! We wanted to take a moment to recap our journey of starting a business together. It’s been quite the adventure, filled with ups and downs, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

The Challenges of Podcasting: We officially launched our business back in March, and boy, let us tell you, podcasting is not as easy as it seems. We quickly realized that it takes a whole production team to make it work. From editors to music developers, we had to learn on the go. It felt like we were being fed by a fire hose, and we must admit, our first attempt at editing podcasts was a complete failure.

Finding Help: Luckily, Erin took charge and found a solution. We reached out to a Facebook group and hired Neil from 7 Million Bikes Podcast. Let us tell you, he’s been a lifesaver. Neil, a Scottish guy with the best accent, has been patient and walked us through the editing process using a Descript. It’s been a learning curve, but we’re getting the hang of it.

Beyond Podcasting: Here’s the thing, podcasting is just one aspect of our company, Connect-Empower. It’s so much bigger than that. We’re constantly brainstorming new ideas to serve and empower our audience. Erin’s creativity is mind-blowing, and together, we’re building something that goes beyond a podcast.

The Importance of Communication: Throughout this journey, we’ve learned a lot about ourselves as individuals and as a couple. Communication has been key. We’ve discovered our strengths and weaknesses, and let us tell you, we are growing! And we’re committed to growing and learning together.

The Power of Gratitude and Giving: Now, let’s talk about the holidays. We want to remind everyone that the holidays shouldn’t be solely about materialism. It’s important to be grateful for what we have and to give back to others. We’ve realized that true gratitude comes from the small things, like a kind gesture or a warm conversation. It’s about serving others and making a positive impact in their lives.

Spreading Joy and Positivity: We believe in being proactive instead of reactive, and that’s the message we want to share with our listeners. We want to inspire and empower people to live their best lives, regardless of their age. Age should never limit us. We can do anything we set our minds to, even if we have to approach things differently.

Call to Action: We want to make this podcast interactive and fun. We encourage you to reach out to us with topics you’d like us to cover or questions you have. We’re also planning to do live sessions on Facebook or Instagram, so stay tuned for that. Let’s make this a community where we learn and grow together.

As we wrap up this episode, we want to express our gratitude for your support. We’re on a mission to make a positive impact and knowing that we have your support means the world to us. Let’s make every day a celebration, not just the holidays. Let’s spread joy, serve others, and make 2024 and beyond a year of positive change. Thank you for joining us, and until next time, take care and keep empowering!

Don’t forget to share with your family and friends the tips you learned!
